We have been seasonals at Waters Edge Campground for 4 years and love being there. The owners are fantastic people they put a lot of time and effort into maintaining the Campground. They have a great team working for them who put there hearts and souls into insuring that every camper has a great experience. At Waters Edge, there is always an activity going on for both children and adults to enjoy should they choose to.
It is a very nice looking campground, the bark park was good for our dogs to play in they really enjoyed it. The showers were clean. Not much else positive to say about this place. Unfortunately no one follows rules there,our neighbors beside us had 3 dogs to a site running loose , they didn't come when called . They were up all night, breaking firewood at 4:30 AM with a big fire going.The other neighbors a few sites down on opposite side of road were up until 2:30 AM talking loudly. The next night at about 8 pm were playing their music really loudly, when I asked them to turn it down a little bit cause I wanted to hear the band that was playing ,I was threatened by 4 of them, it's not the nice friendly place it is advertised as. There we at least 20 people between the 2 sites from kids to adults and a dog running loose . The people in one of the cabins near us had a dog that barked at 5:45 AM,even though dogs are not suppose to be in the Cabins. They should have someone go around at 11:30 PM and make that the supposed quiet time from 11pm- 8 AM rule is followed. The only good neighbor we had were a mom and her daughter trying to spend some quality time together and make some memories, they had some alright and sadly they aren't good ones . In her own words it was hell for the time they stayed there. Such a shame for them to feel that way. For the money we spent to camp there it was a waste, it's a shame as it is a nice place but it isn't all that friendly ,well at least out neighbors weren't we won't be going back. We have been camping for a while and this was by far the worst one yet. There are plenty of other campgrounds out there stay away from this one.
Been camping here for several years. Great place, friendly people. Very sorry to hear that some weekender campers ruined it for some people leaving the 1 star review. But, I can assure you that is the exception, and not the rule.
It's a very family oriented campground, with lots of well thought out activities.
Kind of pricey but campsites where clean electric worked very relaxing weekend
I highly recommend Waters Edge Campground for those who are looking for a great seasonal Campground to call their home away from home and those who are looking for a great weekend getaway!

This place is usually quiet, and they do have people going around making sure the quiet time is enforced. I don't know why that wasn't the case during their visit. I have seen loud people forced to leave before.
